if you have your turtles indoors you shouldn\'t have to worry about hibernation as long as your keep your water and basking area the correct temp. As far as prolapse, I have heard different things about it but never experienced it with my turtles. Some say that it will happen sometime in your turtles life and when it does just put your turtle in some warm water and see if it goes back in. If the condition doesn\'t seem to get better it is always best to go see a vet.

What do you mean by \'prlapse\'?
And hibernation will only occur if the temperature drops. This is very dangerous, check out some documentation before doing so...

Prolapse is usually caused by stress, or gravel eating. If your turtle isn\'t eating gravel, then you shoul be ok. It is still possible, but it rarely happens. Iv\'e read that it could occur in females during mating season. Their their uterus can turn out, but I really don\'t know if thats true.
