1. Get a vet for this one, these are symptoms of illness.
2. This\'ll pass, baby turtles are very carnivorious, they usually don\'t eat veggies before they grow older.
3. Just make sure the temperature is right.

One other thing, get a bigger tank, 10G is nothing, you need at least 40G for 4 RES, together with at least four hiding spots so they can be on their own for a while if they want!

Harry Potter fan too huh? haha...well first off...a 10 gallon is way to small for 4 RES. You really should upgrade to the biggest tank you can handle.

The night time heat bulb isn\'t necessary. The water temp can drop a few degrees at night without bothering the turtles. With four, make sure you have a big enough basking spot. Sometimes they like to bask together and will even stack on top of one another. Use a UVB light during the day along with a day light heat bulb for the basking spot. They are going to be stressed so give them a few days to calm down. You will see a better improvement with a larger tank. An internal filter is good, make sure if you get a larger tank, the filter is strong enough. Human177 is right about the vet. Call one and tell him what the RES eye looks like. If its an infection you can usually treat it at home. The vet should tell you whats safe. Good luck with your little Potter turtles!!!

thanks for the replies

i will consult a vet about Hufflepuff :( - the one that might be ill - and confine it for the time being.

and the 10g is temp and was originally meant for the first two until we could afford a bigger one like next paycheck
and they are still about the size of a silver $.

we went to the vet today and he said he doesnt think there is anything wrong with Hufflepuff and that the eyes and color are due to its pigmentation and suggested vitamins
