My husband and I have two baby red ear sliders. They were both the same size when we got them (2 months ago). Now Princess is much bigger and healthier (she eats EVERYTHING) than Baby. Baby has a soft shell, won\'t eat anything we give him (I\'ve never seen him), doesn\'t swim or bask, avoids food when placed near him and just sits at the bottom of the tank or the shallow end with his eyes closed. He has an irregular shell pattern. The plates are staggered instead of aligned along the center like Princess\'s shell. He sheds just as much but hasn\'t grown at all. He used to swim around a lot and look at us through the glass, sometimes blowing bubbles under water. Now he seems to be waiting for death. My husband is worried that Baby is intimidated by Princess, I think he may be sick. Should I seperate them, go to a Vet or both?

Never mind. I took Baby to the Vet on Friday. They gave me some antibiotics to give him but after three injections, he just gave up.
