My turtle is about 5-7 years old, probably a female, active and eating with bright eyes, but it has reddish skin...it doesn\'t look bad....not like a rash... At first I was afraid it might have eaten a small rock...we have since removed the small rocks...but it is still so active and eating, so it doesn\'t seem sick. I heard that females get reddish skin when they are entering mating season. Anyone have advice?

I think red/pinkish skin can also be caused by blood disease.
