Are turtles co-dependant??? Should I have two or will one be happy on his/her own???

my guy is alone and is as happy as can be. (at least i think so!) he entertains himself all day long and has such a wonderful personality.

i think one is perfectly fine.

I read somewhere that turtles don\'t get lonely and that shouldn\'t be the reason for getting a second turtle, but ofcourse, she didn\'t say how she came to that conclusion:D

Thanks guys! I know my dog would love a playmate but wasn\'t sure about a potential turtle. You guys are great help!

Well I keep 3 RESs and well ok now i have 4 since i have to take care of my cousin`s turtle.....it is usually up to u how many turltes u want...but i should say that 1 is ok....but there is still entertainment....get some small toy for it to play with like a UFO(unidentified floating object)usually it has to float....or a few small fishes but ur turtle would eat it up eventually....well thats all i can say

it depends on the turtle too..some turtles are agressive and don\'t accept company..others find it fun to play together, bask together, swim together, and pile over each other
