This baby turtle stays in his water (i\'m guessing water turtle of some tkind), but it can also hide his arms, legs tail and head inside his shell. he eats about 6 reptomin baby pellets a day.
i hope those pictures are clear enough, he is very striped on his head, and it looks like an \"eye\" pattern on his shell.

any help in identifying his species would be greatly appreciated!!

just so you know .. 6 sticks of food is WAY TOO MUCH FOR YOUR TURTLE! you will get him sick if you keep feeding him that much. he should only be eating about 2 sticks a day.

also, do you have an area for him to get out of the water? he needs an area to bask and an area to swim.

Looks like a hyrogliphic cooter to me...

Remember, these things get huge and to be healthy and happy they need around 75 gallons of tank space when they\'re older. Beautiful turtle you have there!

Not a heiroglyfic river cooter, the small turtle has a ridge on its back, the cooter has a smooth shell
