there is alot of people that have been posting things about fungus\'s. here is the best and easiest solution to getting rid of it:


the best way to deal with a fungus is to put salt in the water, first buy it at the pet store, its called freshwater salt. then you take the turtle out of the water and keep it dry. put betadine on the infected area and leave it dry. then put a jelly based anti-bacterial on the infected area for a couple hours to dry. repeat every 2 days until it is gone. you will want to soak your turtle int he water tank for 30 minutes a day to be able to eat and drink and get wet.

at the beginning of a fungus/shell rot disease u might wanna try salt bath instead of betadine...some people have good result...
