Hey guys, it\'s me again... got some little questions again

Both my turtles, Wisky and Brandy are fine and growing nicely.. eating a lot, but latelt i found out that the green \"shapes\" or \"patterns\" on their shells starts to disappear, as if it is being scratched off, and the female one, the greeen color at top tip of her shell kinda came off, and now it\'s like....yellowish, skin colour, just the little tip at the top of her shell,...

i am not sure why.. they are fine, basking, eating, swimming... they are in a 10 gallon tank, with rocks at the bottom .. i was think could it be the rock, and they like to play around with them that scratched it off? .. anyway.. any help will be gooood. thx!

It might be that they are starting to shed, but I don\'t have much experience, since mine haven\'t started yet, but I\'m sure dixeee will tell you for sure:D As long as they seem helthy, I wouldn\'t worry but I\'d still keep watch, just in case.

thanx stray:)

well puregold..ur little colorful turtles are shedding and loosing their colors gradually until they become olive/darkish-green (that will take some time in years)..this is normal and it is a sign of growing so don\'t worry..rocks have nothing to do with it
