I have a female red ear slider shes 23 .
we have a n new one now hes 2.she seems to be mean and bite him on the foot.shes way bigger than him and im scared shes going to bite his head off.shes about 5 xs bigger than he is.she also weighs alot more.once i tried to give her a little friend and she did t5he same thing .is she njust a mean old turtle who lays eggs or will she maybe start to like the new guy and they may breed thats great if they do.hes so tame and lets you pet him and scratch his neck id love to keep him should he have his own tank

the way ur female acting with the new guy,yes i think u should get him is own tank...if i was a single lady who live alone for 23 years i would be mean to anyone who\'s came in my place...:D
seriously,i\'m not a expert but this happen in another topic and people always end-up separate the turtles before they get too nasty and kill each other...the size(i think personnally)is a big issue...

yeah seems they need to be seperated..getting a company for her is difficult..not after 23 years
