Help! i think something is wrong with my turtles. Here is whats going on..
1. they havent been eating, its been like a month
2. my smaller res for the past 4 days, i have noticed stays at the bottom corner of the tank, sticks his arms and legs in his shell and just closes his eyes. he has never done this before and heck only move if i tap on the tank and he gets startled. is he hybernating or worse? please help me i am very concerned.

we need more info...like;what ur water temperature and ur general set-up...do u have a heater?a basking spot?ect..

for how long do u have them?
did u notice anything wrong with the eyes? infection or something?
is the shell ok?
did u change anything in the setup or their environment lately?

ive had one of the turtles for about 2 years, the other one is about 6 months old. their eyes seem fine, so does their shells. they have a basking spot and i didnt change their enviorment.

ok then they\'re not that new..
maybe the temp. has been dec. in ur area so u have to inc. it for them..if they look fine then maybe it\'s ur first guess that they are trying to hibernate..u have to read about hibernating if ur planning to leave them do so..just look in the site for more info..

Check the water temp and make sure that the water is clean. If it still continues I would find a local rep. vet. Mine in PSL was really nice and he gave me some shots to give my yellow belly. She got alot better. It was worth the time and money.
