Is it recommended to clip their front claws? He has 4 small cuts on his chin and neck. He is very active and has long claws. I have had him for about 21 years and have never had this problem before. I have never clipped his claws and would like to know if there was and particular length they should be?

Thanks

Never heard of clipping claws, It might be bad because there are membranes in the claws and nerve ending which would hurt him if cut directly. You could file them down a little bit or dull them would be my suggestion.
