Hi guys,
Stinky, my little (1.5 inch) RES seems to have a hard time breathing. It\'s spending more time on the basking rock than it used to and has not been eating for the past week or so.
I hear a clicking sound coming from its abdomen and the clicking is enough to make the surrounding water vibrate a little bit.
It seems to take really deep breaths and shrugs its shoulders with every breath and its head goes in and out a little every time. It still swims fine and its color is nice and green so I\'m not sure if this is normal or not.
Please post your own experiences and opinions here if you have any some ideas other than just taking it to the vet, which I\'ll do if its condition doesn\'t improve.

I\'m not really sure, it might have been pneumonia. He was such a small turtle... only about 25% larger than a hatchling.
Hopefully my current turtles will be healthy now that it\'s summer.
