i need to know where i can find the silverdine cream and the acriflavine? is that some product for human or animal?

why don\'t u ask in drug stores? if it\'s for human then they\'ll know:)

Silverdine (silver sulfadine)cream is a topical burn cream. You can find it at a drug store, and it is a human product.

You are supposed to use that for shell rot? Didn\'t know that............

I\'ve only seen acriflavin available on line. If your turtle has shell rot to the point that he needs silverdine, it would be better to take him to a herp vet for treatment (and if you\'re really aren\'t sure what he has, for a diagnosis).

if is not shell rot and i do the treatement,can it harm my turtle cause i don\'t really have the money to go to the vet an her shell getting worse everyday..i was kind of hoping the cream would be cheaper then the vet...

try something else other than cream..maybe something natural..i don\'t know

my brother had to use that stuff, cause he wrecked his dirt bike and his leg got stuck between liek the tire and muffler thing and it burned this big chunk out of his leg cause the tire kept on moving and he was stuck underneah the bike..his calf part of his leg looks weird now

theres some kind of vitamin you can give your turtle for his shell rot. i dont remember what kind though

There is no one vitamin that will cure shell rot.

thx a lot!!! what they describe for the mild shell rot is exactly what she have...otherwise she still healthy,eating,swimming ect..and i also find the reason why it happen in the first place(she wasn\'t able to dry enought in the basking area)and correct it already.so a big bunch of thanks again..i feel a bit better already,and my turtle too.:)
