Post any questions you have about a turtle indoor setup here. Or if you have a link to your indoor setup picture we would love to see it.

Hello,

I just moved my RES into a larger tank.

The water was clear until I added my turtle.

Now it is turning green.

What can I do to clear it up?

<note>
I used new gravel, the right amount of REPTISAFE, and it is a new filter.
</note>

Any ideas?

Thanks
Thom

Hi Thom!

There are a lot of ways to clear up a green tank.

You can use other animals.

Or put this special carrtridge thing on your filter.

But mine are in a pond so ask somebidy else.

Hope this info is of use to you!

Welcome aboard!

This site is way cool!

See Ya!

it may need to \"cycle\", or you can try adding some carbon, what is your lighting schedual?

I\'m having the same trouble with green water. I\'ve had the water tested over and over, used Cycle, Algaefix, have two large plecos and 6 medium snails in the tank. The tank is 125 gallons with a canister filter for a 200 gallon plus tank. The filter contains carbon plus five filter baskets, and a waterfall. I periodically change out 30% of the water. I\'ve only put the lights on for about 1 hour a day but I really don\'t think this is good for the turtles. It\'s driving me crazy. Any suggestions. Thanks

WOW!! That\'s sound really frustrating, after you got all that stuff.
