I\'ve had my RES hatchling for 2 weeks now, and I\'m starting to wonder if I\'ve been feeding it the right amounts.

I usually give it 2 pellets in the morning, 2 pellets at night, and sometimes a small snack of chicken or shrimp in addition. Am I overfeeding? Also, I saw these live brine shrimp being sold at the pet store. Would my turtle like it? How much shrimp could I give him?

the general rule of thumb is to feed about how much food could fit in its head each day (disincluding the neck)

Hmm...slidersroc--it appears that only 1 pellet would fit into my turtle\'s head (2 tops). He has a 1.5 inch carapace. Does that mean I should feed him only a pellet a day? It seems like a measly amount.
