Question About Age

I have a RES and she\'s the size of a quarter and does anyone how you determine the age of turtles???

Im not sure how to accurately determine the age of a turtle but judging by the size of the turtle I would say your turtle is about one month old.

Hey Tinkerbell thanks 4 da advice and one time I heard someone say that you count the little squares on the turtle\'s back but I\'m not sure.:)

That\'s not true. The only way you can accurately know how old a turtle is is to know when it was hatched. Anything else is either a guess or an old tale.

I don\'t know what is happening I posted a reply on here and it has dissapeared. I stated that my vet told me that my turtle was very young around a month or so because when I got it it still had its egg tooth, another way to see if it is young it if it still has its yoke sac, but I would ask my Turtle Vet because he/she may be able to tell you something.
