Hi everyone,

It\'s been a good while since the last time I posted. My turtles are now almost 3 years old and I\'m starting to be a little concerned about Chompers eyesight. :(
Whenever I go to feed the turtles, they come up to my hand. Jade always gets the food on the first try while Chompers can\'t seem to find the food, even when it\'s right in front of him. Once I drop it into the water he seems to find it after a while, but it worries me that he can\'t see as well as Jade could.
What do you all think about this?

I\'ve heard that RES tend to be nearsighted and rely more on sense of smell when eating food. (My turtle will sometimes miss what he\'s snapping at.) If you\'re really concerned, though, a herp vet visit would be good.
