I know alot of people have wrote in about algae on their turt\'s shells and in their tanks...that\'s normal:but is having NO algae in the tank and on their shells <<at all>>..Normal too??

That\'s a good question. I was wondering the same thing. I was also wondering if it was ok to put algae eaters in the same tank as my baby turtles??

yes and yes.alge eaters do fine and no alge is no problem

what king of algea eaters? Snails? my turtle ripped open the shell and ate them. Fish? they wouldn\'t last 5 minutes.
