I learned something that I thought some of you might be able to use (or already know).... when attaching a background with tape, a lot of times you can\'t get it tight enough so you can see it through the glass very well. After you have it cut to the perfect size, apply a very thin layer of vaseline to the entire back (and sides if you want) and \"stick\" the background to it. Then use a credit card or something similer, and run it across the background to take out all the air bubbles. It sounds messy, but once the background is in place it looks great!

are you still using tape to hold down the sides or does the vaseline hold everything on together?

Nope, you don\'t have to use any tape. The vaseline holds everything down very well. You do have to be careful when lifting your tank because your background will slip. If you try it, let me know how it works for you!
