We live in Bergen County NJ. WE will have had our 2 RES 2 years this month. Bought them on Canal St. when they were too little to be sold and it\'s a wonder they didn\'t freeze to death, sitting in a half inch of water in a bowl on the sidewalk! Our daughter is heading off to college and we fear we won\'t be able to find turtle sitters if we travel. We want them to be where they will thrive. Are you an experienced turtle lover? If you are already set up and would like to adopt two more, please write. They are friendly fellows, curious and brave, love to get in the way when you change the filter!

If you can\'t find anyone in which will take your turtles you might want to find a good rescue or adoption agency in the area. I heard some pet stores will take them if they are in good condition.
Good luck in your expedition to find a good home for your well-loved turts:)
