We just a RES and it is shedding...we think. It's legs are kind of filmy like a layer of skin is peeling off. Is that normal? We also noticed a few days later that the top part of his/her she are lifting off and the ends are curling. Is this part of the shedding process and is there anything we should do if it's not? Appreciate any info we can get.

I have four turtles and 2 of them have this problem. It comes from the lack of vitamen D, which you can get with the use of a vita light.

The other cause comes from not having their shell dried. A good thing to do is dry off their shells and apply a cream called vital shell. it also makes it look nice and shiny. Good luck and let me know what happens
