Hi!
Some one gave my son a turtle (green having dull yellow spots). It also has claws (nails) Dont know if its a land, sea or a fresh water turtle. Recently its shell has started growing softer with fungus like white and brown patches on it. Its about 4 inches long. I dont even know whatto feed him!! Have been feeding him worms so far.

CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi there,
Well first thing make sure you have a proper set up which include a UVB light like reptisun 5.0. Feed your turtle a combination of vegetables and worms, but make the worms only 25% of your turtles diet. Here are some good vegetables to feed the turtle: turnip greens, collard greens, mustard greens, kelp, kale. To avoid overfeeding the turtle feed him/her only what they will eat within a few minutes or give them a portion of food about the size of their neck and head.

You should probably feed it veggies since you don\'t know what it is yet you should also do some reserch the internet to find out what kind of turtle it is and what to feed him also.:^)
