what would be higher in nutritional value.. MICE ( white ones chopped up) or LIVER (chicken liver) can you use the chicken liver they sell for catfishing in a lake?

I would probably say liver. Although I have never heard of mice being food for turtles. The other thing is that I feed my turtles calf liver and one turtle can't get enough of it and the other won't touch it.

I've never heard of it! My turtles aren't very big. When can I try it?

Feeding mice to turtles sounds a little weird. I would check with your vet before feeding them mice.

There are so many other options for live feeding like feeder fish, crickets, mealworms... why resort to this?

I dont recomend mice or liver for your turtles, there is probably too much protein which can cause pyrimiding in the shell. stick to pellets as a staple and add in some worms and crickets and feeder fish occasionally. Also add some veggies into their diet toex romain, dandelion greens, collard greens.
