A little history and some questions. I think I know the answer to this question but I need some more experienced feedback. I was watching my turtle today when I had a very large cricket (1-1/4 inches in legth by app 1/2 inch wide) jump into the water. My turtle saw the cricket hit the water and was onit faster than I could even think about moving. Cricket was gone in two bites. The turtle is app 4 inches in diameter. The cricket is definitely at head size. I have never seen any feeders this size and had never seen any outside this size. Is this too large for a turtle of his/her size? Am I being overprotective where the turtles feeding is concerned?
