Hi ya\'ll,
Well, now that I have gotten rid of my algae thanks to Mariza and everyone else concerned........I purchased an algae eater, a plecos. Well, when I had the algae it was fine food for him but now do I have to feed him algae tablets? The guy in the pet store said I have to. If I do, then will it turn my water green? Will the turtles try to eat the algae wafers? Will it hurt them? WOW, if it isn\'t one thing, then it\'s another.

I actually like the little plecos algae eater and I want him to stay well. Any advice?

Thanks everyone!

I am definitely not an expert on fish tanks but we have had 2 plecos in our large tank for almost 3 years now and I\'ve never even seen any slimy algae at all. I have always dropped a few of these algae wafers in every day and the plecos seem to be doing great!

Good luck. I love my plecos!
