hmm. i\'ve had my RES for twelve years and today I found something weird in her tank. They look like eggs?! I only have one turtle so i dont really think they are eggs? But they are the size of her head or maybe even abit bigger?! What could it be?

Adult females will lay eggs whether or not they`ve mated; they will just not be fertile. You should provide her with a nesting area so if she has any more eggs, she can lay them properly. This is important because sometimes without a proper nesting site the female will try to retain the eggs, and if they rupture inside of her she could die without a herp vet`s attention. Take a look at http://www.tortoisetrust.org/articles/Nestsites.htm for some information.
