pond for turtles

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if live plants in my pond would be good to help control the algae? also in the pond we have 1 res and 1 florida soft shell. any suggestions would be great

hey i dont know if water plants could help prevent algea or not but i kno that the turtles especially res love to eat them

if you really want to preveny algea get some water snails

get big snail tho cuz the turts mite get hungry
