I have 7 red ear sliders in a relatively large indoor pond and I recently noticed one of my females has a huge sore (possibly a bite mark) on her neck. I will not have money to take her to the vet till the end of next week. Is there anything over the counter or Internet that I could possibly buy for her till the vet day comes? Any information will be greatly appreciated ~Dee~

If it`s not deep, you could try applying a small amount of Neosporin after cleaning it with diluted Betadine (color of weak tea). Since it`s oil based, keep your turtle out of the water for 30-60 minutes after applying to let it sink in.
