Gravel or rocks?

Hi. I just wanted to kno if you thought the turts could swallow gravel.becuz if they can i\'m gonna change to rocks.thnkx in advance!

i think you should go with rocks because gravel is harder to clean and bacteria can grow in it. i think rocks would be the ez way to go but its up to u and i am still new at this.

The turtles could probably swallow it depending on the size of the gravel. i bought pebbles for my tank at petsmart that cant fit into my turtles mouth.

Get smooth river rocks larger than your turtle`s head so he won`t be tempted to eat them. You can buy them at stores like Home Depot, maybe even Walmart.

thanx.elle is fine with the gravel it doesnt bother or distract her.but i had to change coltranes.he seems to be the only one who tries to eat it so i used marbles.thanx

We had to go with river rocks becaus the Herk was trying to eat gravel. Tis best to use the rocks.
