Hello,

I\'ve started to have a big problem with tiny little crawling bugs in my turtle\'s food. How can I get rid of them. They especially go to the dry shrimp container. There were about a thousand inside the cap. Should I just throw it out? For now I just cleaned out all of them from the lid. Please advise on how to get rid of these bugs for good, if there\'s a way. I refuse to keep this food in the fridge--but maybe I\'ll keep it in the freezer even though that grosses me out.

Thanks.

I read up on this on the web. This is a HORRIBLE sign so I just through out all the infested cans. These bugs (food mites) can even be transmitted to people!! WATCH OUT!!

hi if you begin to get bugs in any form of food that isnt supposed to be alive you shouldnt be feeding it. this means it\'s past it\'s date or else hasn\'t been kept in the right conditions. throw everything out that has these bugs and buy new food. if the bugs come back think about where you keep your food or else where you buy the food from.
