He\'s probably thinking \"get your stupid finger outta here or I\'m gonna bite it!\" (kidding here) ;)

Your turtle probably thinks your finger is food.

Hi,
My turtles sometimes bite my finger when I try to feed them. They get a little overexcited when I feed them late, sometimes climbing the rocks to get to the food, and slamming themselves down into the water once they have it.
I think that sometimes the turtles may think that you\'re finger is food, or sometimes they may be aiming for food, but snatch on to your finger. Usually when they are fed on time, mine don\'t bite me.
Hope this helps
:D
