just wondering if anyone knew how long a res can live for captive and wild.

Approx. 90% of the hatchlings will die in the first year. This is due to many factors including \"Death Bowl\" set ups.

If kept ubder proper conditions, RES will live an average of 15-25 years. There have been cases where theyt have lived longer, but figure 20 to be safe.

I am not really sure what their life span is in the wild.

woot!! I\'m doing good :) Stu\'s one of 10 percent!!! *well.. so far anyway* I\'m guessing she\'s prolly about 7 months old, healthy, and happy.

go me! *does the I\'m-so-cool dance and thanks everyone on this board, as they\'re REALLY the cool ones*

me and my gf were just saying the other day how all 6 of our turtles seem healthy
