Never put chlorine in a turtle\'s aquarium
Aquasafe is always a good thing, but I don\'t think you need any special method.

I have a baby RES in a 42 gallon rubbermaid, I fill the container about half full which is about 20 gallons, wut I do is I add the amount of Aquasafe for 15 gallons. I just guess a little bit of Chlorine won\'t harm. I let my water stand for atleast 24 hours tho to let the Chlorine vaporize or so I have heard.

You might want to keep the water out for more then a day if you have alot of water. Aquasafe is safe. I just fill my tank up with a hose, the water from my hose isnt clorinated, its from an under ground well, hope this helps.
