I just left RES OaSis and now I\'m even more confused about the different systems. I have sand in the bottom of their tanks because they love to dig around and find stuff. I don\'t really know what kind of stuff, but they love going after it, whatever it is! But is the sand going to interfere with the efficiency of the filter? Bio,chemical, and mechanical. I\'m just not getting it. How do I maintain their tanks biologically? I know I\'ve asked about filters before but I had no idea there was so much to know. Is it easier than it all sounds? All I have is turtles, do I have to get snails and stuff too?
