What would be the proper type of lightbulb to use for basking for 2 baby RESes? Thanks :)

something thats not too hot or they will cook
try the lowest wattage bulb available
i think its 50

You can use regular incadescent bulbs 40-60 watts. The basking temp should be at least 80 F up to 85 F. You can try lowering and raising the light to change the temp. Make sure you geta thermometer to verify the temp.

i also have 2 baby RESs
any brand name recomendations?

I use zoo-med basking bulb. I have a 60 watt bulb, and its supposed to last 3000+ hrs. It works fine for me, and they\'re easy to find.
