Is it normal for the tail of RES to be a little bit \'swollen\' near the body???

How swollen?

Males compared to females have thicker and longer tales. Maybe you have a male?

Does the female\'s tail curl a little bit too?

In RES, females are MUCH bigger than males. There\'s no mistaking it. And if you compare the tales, the little male\'s tale is MUCH thicker than the females. The claws of the males are MUCH longer. It not even remotely the same. So if your RES are similar in size, I suspect that you probably have two female or two males.

I have question about tails too. My turtle, Ben has white things on his tail. Actually, his tail is covered white. He\'s an RES and some of the white is thicker than the rest and some peels off. what is the white?
