We are having such nice weather my thoughts have turned to spring.

Right now I am trying to figure out my chick order. I am getting some Domoniques (they are the type of chickens the settlers brought with them)as well as a few more Buff Orpingtons (they lay the best eggs). I am also thinking of getting some cornish crosses for the freezer, and maybe a turkey or two.

I am looking at getting another bunny. I have an angora and I would like another. When they shed the fiber is perfect for spinning. That is where angora sweaters come from.

My little pom puppy is still missing. I recorded a radio commercial today that will run through the weekend. Boy those commercials are expensive. $110 for 10 30 second spots. But we are desperate. We also offered a $350 reward.

I am also in the process of ordering seeds for this year. I am trying to purchase only heritage seeds, as I don\'t like gmo\'s and such. I think I will plant an extra row of carrots. The turtles like them so much I am running a bit low. I kept the kale alive by bordering it with straw bales and covering it. So they still have that left. :) They don\'t like it as much so the chickens get some too.

So what is everyone else doing for sping?
