Oh, I don\'t think I meant the elite crew, i was just making a joke. So far, I\'m not a favorite on this whole site. I seem to know nothing about turtles but nobody seems interrested in giving me info, they just have to tell me <blah blah blah> that i need rubermaid. I want to know what is the right way to do everything! You know, food, water, tank being cleaned...things like that. I want to be helped not yelled at!

Hey, Dix, that\'s a little harsh. She\'s just a newbie that wants info.

Okay, Geeky, after you get a huge rubermaid thing, buy a fitler, if it is a fish filter, double the power (aka if you get a 50 gallon rubermaid, buy a 100 gallon fish filter) or if you get a turtle filter, then just remember w/ filters the more the better. Then, feed them lettace like dixieee said and turtle pellets everyday, but don\'t let the lettace rott, yuck! and throw in a couple of feeder fish every once in a while, for some fun for your turts (who are probably VERY bored). I think (if anyone thinks this is wrong just say so but I\'ve done tons of times) that you should gently scrub the turts shells with a soft toothbrush (soft and CLEAN). That will remove the scud and you might have lighter colored turtles underneath. :) If they act strange, take them to the vet. TURTLES ARE A LIFETIME COMMITMENT! They want to be taken care of. They are a lot smaller than you and can\'t say, \"Hey! I\'m hungry and dirty and cramped and bored!\" YOU have to care for them the right way. But, if you feel you can\'t do all that, give them to a person you know will take good care of them until spring, then release them. That\'s all I have to say, for now. :D

PS Hey, reptileguy (lol) I\'ll come back on if you won\'t bring up the whole \'argument\' thing. I\'ll let your little cissing slid if you hide it (you know, with the captilas only and stuff), okay? Sorry, Reptileman. :)
