If it tastes like chicken, then why not just eat chicken?

Come on guys, I\'ve had frogs, too. They\'re not bad. I used to raise bullfrogs (the kind they eat) and sometimes they got to be over two feet long! And, have no fears, xVBB Girlx, they eat sea turtles, not RES. :) It\'s always nice to try something new, I\'ve had frogs, alligator, kangaroo, etc. But, I would never eat horse, lol. Eating horse-meat for me would be like eating turtles. LOL :)

You don\'t eat the fishhead, just the meat on and in it:D:D, it was pretty good, I also tried some Japanese mustard (I think), never again, as soon as I swallowed, it felt like every single pore in my body just opened wide, you ever go swimming and stayed underwater a little too long and when you came back up you took this desparate long breath, that is what it is like:D:D, I don\'t recommend it.:D

In a way, although,it is not spicy (hot), it is more like, You ever open up a bottle of amonia and take a whif of it, kinda like that, kinda takes your breath away, the sensation doesn\'t stay very long though, only a couple of minuites, but you\'ll know not to eat it again:D:D

And still, some people eat horse, some eat dog, you see the dogs in cages in markets thinking they are being sold as pets but they are really sold like cattle.:( poor puppies. I have heard of people eating cats, opposum, armadillo, worms, crickets, snails, you name it, if it is out there, humans have probably tried to eat it.:D

I know, those poor dogs. I guess I wouldn\'t feel bad except that dogs seem to have more personality that cows. I read a National Geographic once that had pictures of dogs in China that were going to be killed for meat and once beautiful goldeney colored dog ( a lot like my Hope) had a sign on his cage that read something in Chinese and the in English,\" Help Me!\" <sniff> So sad. :(

Yes, in 1991, when I was in the military, I was in Sasebo, Japan, (mainland I believe), I also went through Nagasaki, One of my japanese friends took me to his home and later that evening he took me out to the bars to show me around, a little difficult since I don\'t speak japanese (only a few phrases) and he spoke some english. It was the loneliest feeling you could have, being surrounded by people but seeing no one from america, it was nice though.:D Very clean and the people are very nice.:D:D
