You may be surprised at what your RES will eat. You can sample those options provided you give it to them in bite size portion. If they readily accept, continue to feed them some more. But I don't recommend you give these food to them as a regular diet.

I would stick to things they would find in nature. Cat food has alot of things in it that are not good for turtle's and there is no way I would EVER feed any of mine that.

i give my turtel 3 food balls and a few peses of krill 2 times a day but im not shur if i should get some other vitamin food

Dont forget to make sure your turts get calcium. You can get cuttlebone for birds. Take the hard shell like thing off and feed them that. It also helps keep the beak from over growing.

its a bone from a fish, i beleive, and it contains lots of calcium. you get it in the bird aisle and take the first layer off, then you can put peices in the tank, the turtles will eat it and get much needed calcium
