Me again! I know, always with the questions!!!
One now about Babs. (I beleive she's female anyway).
She's the biggest of all three turtles in the tank.
I was comparing her to Bob and Bertie the other day and noticed her legs, head and tail all look massive in comparison with her shell! Is tis right?
The other guys look fine.
Should I be worried, or is it part of the growing process?
I will try and get photo's to compare.

Here are the pictures. They're not great, but they'll do, hopefully.
This is Babs.

For comparison purposes, this is Bertie

Again, not a great pic, but this is Babs sleeping. Tat's one of her back legs you can see.

And Babs again from a different view.

This probably is really silly, but I get confused easy (I'm blonde, lol)
Babs has extremely long claws and an even longer tail - as you can see in the last pic.
Bob and Bertie have a really short tail, and, compared to Babs, short claws, although Bobs are longer than Berties, but I wander if he's slightly older, as he is a bit bigger. (Just in case it helps any?!)
Thank you so much for helping me with this.

Kinda hard to see as pic not all that clear. But in general, longtail/nails.....male. Short tail/nails....female.
Top pic looks male to me.
2nd pic looks male to me. but the tail is thin
3rd hard to tell.
same as the last pic.

thank you, tho i will try to get better pics. I guess then by what you're saying Babs needs a new name lol!
Turtles do not grow too big for their shells. Their shells are a part of their body. It is possible for a turtle to be fat.
Your turtles are much too small to tell the sex. Many of those characteristics will change as they grow.

Like fish and candy said, growing "too big" for theyre shell is not normal and all fingers usually point to the turtle being obese.Turtles that are obese are in danger of tons of health problems such as (liver damage, heart failure) not only that but it is very uncomfortable to them.
For example, lets say you weigh 400 pounds, and your shirt is an extra small...sucks doesnt it? If your turtle is obese i would cut down on food ASAP.
