I have owned larger turtles in the past with no problems, but I am new to the hatchling thing.

I noticed that their shells are getting the shape of a triangle or pyramid. Why is that? Am I feeding them too much? I feed them once a day and only portions the size of their head.

What will happen to them if the peaking does not stop?

Thanks,
Nick

watch out for that..u will have to put them on a diet..cut their feeding times to once every other day and keep some floating leaves so if they feel hungry they will eat some..and if u can put them to walk on the floor or something it will work..

good luck

I feed my babies once a day and sometimes float romaine in their tank. Never use iceberg lettuce it has no nutritonal value and the turtles can get hooked on it.
