I HAVE TWO RES. MINE \"SPUNKY\" HAS LOTS OF ENERGY AND LOVES PLAYING. IT IS FUNNY WATCHING HIM GET CAUGHT IN THE JET OF THE PUMP :-) MY HUSBAND\'S TURTLE \"LITTLE CONNOR\" I HAVE NOTICE THAT HE IS NOT AS ACTIVE HE EATS WHEN HE ACTUALLY SEES THE FOOD IN FRONT OF HIM AND I HAVE TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME WITH HIM TO GET HIM TO EAT AND KEEP SPUNKY AWAY CAUSE SPUNKY WILL EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT WITH NO PROBLEM. HE WILL EVEN TAKE IT OUT OF MY FINGERS. MY CONCERN IS THAT SINCE LITTLE CONNOR BECAME LESS ACTIVE I HAVE NOTICED THAT HIS WASTE I GUESS YOU COULD SAY IS MORE LIKE A MUCUS? HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN THIS?

if everything is normal with him (according to turtles in general not to the active guy) then i wouldn\'t worry a lot..turtles have different personalities exactly like people..about his waste,,i don\'t really know,,is everything else going fine?

WELL, I THOUGHT SO CAUSE HE WOULD EAT BUT I WOULD HAVE TO STAND OVER HIM AND MAKE SURE HE SAW IT WHERE AS MY OTHER TURTLE IS ALWAYS SWIMMING AROUND LOOKING FOR FOOD. BUT THIS MORNING I DECIDED TO PUT HIM IN A SEPARATE BOWL FOR FEEDING AND HE WOULDN\'T EAT HE WOULDN\'T EVEN TAKE IT OUT OF MY HAND LIKE HE DID WHEN I FIRST GOT HIM. WHEN I HOLD HIM HE IS REAL ACTIVE AND STILL HAS ENERGY TO SWIM AND RUN DOWN MY ARM. THE SCARY THING IS WHEN I PUT HIM IN THE SEPARATE BOWL THIS MORNING I NOTICE HE WAS SWIMMING/FLOATING SIDE WAYS. :-(

ok ur baby is listing..that\'s a sign of RI..i don\'t wanna scare u but u have to keep him seperated for now, raise the temps to about 85F, and take him out of water..just soak him for 30 min daily so he can eat (if he did) and to get the needed things from it..i\'ll check other sites now to see what else u could do

WELL WE JUST GOT BACK FROM THE VET! HE DIDN\'T REALLY SAY MUCH THEY WERE SOOOOO BUSY HE SAID THAT HE COULD HEAR SOME CONJESTION AND GAVE HIM A SHOT OF ANTIBOTIC AND I HAVE TO GIVE HIM A SHOT EVERY THREE DAYS 5 TIMES. SO WE JUST HAVE TO HOPE THAT THIS WORKS. I AM KEEPING A GOOD EYE ON HIM.
