Hey guys (long sigh) when I came home from SUBWAY because my mom and dad own one,I have to go anyways I came home around 7:00 I went to my turtles tank I saw Speedy floating at the top of the water and......his eyes where closed and .......I picked him up and he.......wasn't breathing after a while I figured out he was.................Dead so I dug a hole about a foot deep and got Speedy and washed him off and put all his body parts into his shell and put him in a plastick bag and put him in the hole and of course I payed my respects to Speedy and filled up the hole and got a flower and planted it over Speedy in about 2 months I am going to unbury Speedy and get his shell and keep it with me for the rest of my life     :( :( :( :(

sorry for ur loss brian :!: did u notice any signs of illness on speedy before? it's ok, that's not ur fault. little speedy is now thankful and remembers u in turtle heavens. our older turtles are taking good care of him there.

it's ok he's feeling much better now..i had the same thought when my turtle passed away and marked the place i burried him in so i could keep the shell but after a while i made up my mind that it'll be better if i leave him there peacefully + i knew that i couldn't stand looking at the shell and not seeing him in..
