I have the same problem there is always a ring around the tank and a film at the top of the water that has a kind of rainbow appearence to it.

use vineger to rub it off

Do I use the vineger when I am cleaning or just in between cleanings.

am sorry i didn\'t get ur question but if u mean u use it for cleaning then yes,,put it on a piece of sponge or whatever and clean the tank with it

I think it is used when you clean your tank so your turtles don\'t get any ill effect from the vinegar, if any:D, then rinse very well befor refilling.:D:D

Use diluted white vinegar and a little elbow grease to clean. Rinse the tank well before refilling it.
