you won\'t be able to tell for a while unfortunatly. mine are 4 years old and are just now old enough to tell.

males have long front foreclaws, with a long then tail that gets slightly wider at the base. their shells can either be flat or concave.

females have short front foreclaws, with a short fat tail. their shells can be either flat or convex. to make room for the eggs. i have also noticed that females tend to be thicker in their shells.

i\'ve owned turtles pratically my whole life, but never have i been able to tell what sex they are at such an early age. hope this helps and that you can determine much sooner than i.

lots o\' luck!

Are you asking age or sex? I thought you wanted age but the replies determined sex. IF they are only the size of a quarter they are only a month old maybe. NEw hatchlings.
