I want to put a piece of plexi glass in Joe\'s tank, what do I use to hook it to the side and what should I put over it when it\'s done?

i just set up a new tank for my sons 2 res,..i also used a piece of p.glass for the basking area...i cut it to the size i needed then i used aquarium sealant <silicon> to adhere to the sides and bottom of the tank(at an angle)...let it set for about 48 hrs before filling. i filled mine with aquarium gravel<the bigger ones> . if you have a large tank fill yhe bottom of the basking area w/larger rocks then finish w/the gravel..hope i could help..

I found this set up that I want to try and duplicate. I think it\'s great! It is a shelf so it gives more water room under the shelf and doesn\'t take up floor space.
