my common snapper tried to eat my alligator snappers tail. h

my common snapper tried to eat my alligator snappers tail. he didnt bite it off but chewed off a lot of skin. more like bite it and tore it off.. so now my AS is out of the water just sitting there with his eyes close not moving a whole lot. i feel horrible!!! i dont know what to do as far as treatm...

I need to start thinking about getting a larger tank setup for my alligator snappers. i cant do a outdoor setup because it gets too cold here in the winter. i dont think i am ready to buy a huge (200+gal) fish tank yet, too expensive.. does anyone have any suggestions/ideas what would work as an ide...
