I would strongly advise against that. Your turtle might not be aggressive, but just to be on the safe side... Also, if it looks small enough to go for, the older one might put the baby at risk.

I just researched and found out that these terrapins are BORN with soft shells, which harden over 9 or 10 months. It's completely fine! As for its eyes tearing, that could be just natural, its just a baby. I strongly suggest you release it back into the wild and let it survive on its own, no offense...

Re: Finally got my turtle .. YEAYUH. Couple Q\'s tho ..

The turtle just doesn\'t like turtle pellets. Its all a matter of one turtle\'s taste. If it is a turtle around 5 inches, you could try to feed it vegetables. Remember, no iceberg lettuce or spinach. If you want to feed it butter lettuce, wash it very thoroughly. Romaine is pretty good. For protein,...

Goldfish aren\'t the best option for your turtles. They are higher in fat content then all of the other fish you can buy, and are messier. Yes, guppies are a good option, but minnows and mosquito fish are as equally suitable. Do not feed frozen fish!!! Low in thiamin and vitamins!!!
