Re: substrate

uhh, well. I dont know why you just want the turtle to lay eggs, There is a lot of stuff you got to study up on, and basically you will need a make and female to get fertile eggs. you wont need a male for long, as the female can store the sperm. But still, it isnt just as easy as, laying eggs and th...

Re: What kind of turtle is this?

True, If I didnt save my painted turtles, they would be toast. Got them from a swamp that was demolshed for houses. Seems a shame that i could only find two babies. :( its a sad world. But we all got to try!

Re: finally, pic of my softy

How do these turtles interact. I seem to think the snapper would be, aggresive. Also, is a snapper an ideal turtle to have a pet, as well as keeping it with a soft shell. I would be worried I would wake up one more with a full snapper, and missing my softie. Just wondering, awesome turtle tho. Softs...

Re: how much do turtles in your area cost?

On average, up here in Canada, most turtles sell for approximatly $50 Canadian. Seems a lot different than the days of cheap turtles. wow. We dont get variety up here though. It is all RES, nothing different or exotic!

I am unfamiliar with the rules about spotted turtles. I find these turtles very attractive and interesting, how ever. they seem impossible to be able to purchase, order etc. is there a reason why or am I looking in the wrong places?
